“I don’t know how to say this correctly, so I’m just going to barrel ahead and hope you and I are on the same page: I have never had a more pleasant drilling than I have had at Dr. Gentry’s office. I have never had a better cleaning, either. And when I rolled through to get my tooth pulled, I left with a huge smile on my face. Not because I am a connoisseur of pain or because I got to keep the tooth as a souvenir (I did, tho!), but because everything and everyone at this office is a goddamn (sorry) delight! I mean it: if you tried hard enough, you could just imagine this office as a spa for your teeth. Dr. Gentry is wonderful, personable, kind, and every other adjective you’d want to describe a dentist. She recognizes that getting your mouth worked on is stressful and does everything to create a calming stress-free atmosphere. She’s got the latest equipment, is a master in the art of the near-painless injection, and will always follow up to make sure that you’re recovering well after a procedure.

Honestly, visiting her office often feels like you’re chilling with a friend (who you kind of aspire to be, maybe?) and every one of her staff members — from reception to billing to hygienists — will remember who you are and treat you like you’re family. Even more so than the Olive Garden. (And I love the Olive Garden so it physically hurts me to drag them like this because their whole thing is “we are your family while you are here. Forget the life you knew before” and they don’t do it as well as this office!)

Anyway: You should make an appointment. By all logic, going to the dentist should be my least favorite thing to do. But I love coming here. And Dr. Gentry is one of my favorite people!”
